2025 BMW X5 xDrive50e PHEV lands with PHP 6.99M price tag
The BMW X5 xDrive50e makes 700 Nm of torque and can travel up to 118 km on electric power

BMW Philippines distributor SMC Asia Cars Distributor Corp. has officially launched its first-ever plug-in hybrid (PHEV) in the country. After teasing its arrival earlier this month, the 2025 BMW X5 xDrive50e M Sport PHEV is now available in the Philippines.
Combining the best features of a turbocharged inline-six with an electric motor for hybrid assist, the X5 xDrive50e is both powerful and eco-friendly. At the heart of this electrified crossover SUV is a 3.0L TwinPower Turbo inline-six that's assisted by the brand's eDrive Technology. Thanks to the assistance of an electric motor and 25.7 kWh battery pack, the plug-in hybrid X5 generates a total system output of 489 PS and 700 Nm of torque.

Power is then transferred to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. BMW claims the X5 xDrive50e can go from 0 – 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and reach an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. More importantly, the electrified powertrain has an electric range between 100 and 118 km based on the WLTP cycle.

Besides having a plug-in hybrid system, this particular X5 is equipped with plenty of M Sport goodies like the 21-inch M Light alloy wheels, M Sport brakes, and the M high-gloss Shadow Line. It also features an illuminated kidney grille, run-flat tires, slimmer LED headlights, new bumpers, and generous use of piano black accents throughout the exterior.

Hop inside and the X5 xDrive50e is packed to the brim with countless features. Audiophiles will appreciate the Harmon Kardon surround sound system while technophiles will be pleased with the BMW Live Cockpit Plus.

The system consists of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster along with a 14.9-inch widescreen media display that runs on the latest iDrive Operating System 8.5. It supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with ConnectedDrive Services, and Comfort Access.

Other key features available in the plug-in hybrid X5 include; Sensafin Decor Stitching upholstery, fine wood trim pieces, sport seats, a wireless charging pad, roller sun blinds for the rear passengers, four-zone automatic climate control, a tire pressure monitoring system, Parking Assistant Professional, Driving Assistant Professional, and a split power tailgate.

Prefer your plug-in hybrid X5 with a different-colored interior? Customers can choose from four distinct finishes – Black, Cognac, Coffee, and Silverstone. Last but not least, there are six exterior colors to choose from; Alpine White, Manhattan Metallic, Mineral White Metallic, M Brooklyn Gray Metallic, M Carbon Black Metallic, and Skyscraper Gray Metallic.

The 2025 BMW X5 xDrive50e PHEV is yours for PHP 6.99 million.
