2025 BAIC B60 Beaumont rEV all set for MIAS 2025
BAIC B60 Beaumont combines frame-based 4x4 capability with electric mobility

Remember when we reported that BAIC Philippines will supposedly bring an electrified version of the B60 Beaumont? Well, BAIC distributor United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI) will be revealing it next week at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS).

In fact, the automaker gave us a sneak peek of the electrified SUV called the B60 Beaumont rEV. It may look like a regular B60 Beaumont, but it has some subtle exterior details that differentiate it from its ICE sibling. More importantly, the 2.0L turbo-diesel under the hood has been replaced with a dual-motor intelligent full-time 4WD system that delivers a combined 540 PS and 655 Nm of pull.

With the help of an onboard generator to recharge its battery pack, BAIC claims the B60 Beaumont rEV can travel up to 1,200 km with ease. Aside from going the distance the B60 rEV can tackle almost any terrain thanks to its 215mm of ground clearance, 800mm water wading capability, and massive 20-inch alloys.

Hopping inside the B60 rEV is easy thanks to retractable side steps that allow for easier ingress as well as egress. When it comes to amenities, customers can expect features like an Infinity speaker system, first-class aviation seats with heating and cooling functions plus massage capabilities, and high-definition displays for the instrument panel and touchscreen infotainment.

With the B60 Beaumont rEV ready to impress with its frame-based electrified powertrain, those interested better check it out from April 10 - 13 at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show, which will be held at the World Trade Center Manila in Pasay City.
