2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado confirmed for PH
Toyota receives homologation approval for 2024 Land Cruiser LC250

In case you missed it, the Lexus GX has already arrived in PH showrooms. But don’t worry, its Toyota twin could be launched pretty soon.

Toyota Motor Philippines has received homologation approval for the 2024 Land Cruiser Prado from the Land Transportation Office (LTO). And yes, unlike other markets where they call it the LC250, TMP is keeping the Prado name for the Philippines.
Based on the memo, the 2024 Land Cruiser Prado will be powered by a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder turbo gasoline engine. The new Prado also seems to be a non-hybrid, since it does not bear the HEV branding and is simply called the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2.4 Turbo AT.

But even without the hybrid system, the 2.4 turbo still makes 281 PS and 430 Nm of torque paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. So far, we have not come across a homologation approval for a diesel version of the Land Cruiser Prado.

Much like its more luxurious twin, the Lexus GX, the Land Cruiser Prado gets retro-modern styling to go along with intelligent 4x4 capabilities such as multiple terrain modes and locking differentials for off-road use.
While we don’t have information yet in terms of pricing, we’re expecting the Prado to be priced lower than its bigger sibling, the LC300 which retails for PHP 5.7 million. As for its official launch, stay tuned for more updates.
