2024 Peugeot E-3008 EV can do up to 700km on a single charge

Yesterday, Peugeot released the first images of the all-new E-3008 electric fastback crossover. Not only is the vehicle sleeker and more dynamic than before, but it’s also the first Peugeot vehicle to sit on the new STLA Medium architecture that will replace the outgoing EMP2 platform.

We also got a better look at its more high-tech interior which gets a 21-inch panoramic display along with a redesigned center console. But what we really wanted to know was the electric powertrain of the E-3008. Fortunately, Peugeot has revealed all the details about the E-3008’s zero-emissions system.

There will be a total of three electric powertrain variants available for the E-3008. The first is the entry-level Electric 210 which gets a single electric motor driving the front wheels. It puts out 210 PS with 343 Nm of torque and has a 73 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that provides 525 km of range. It can go from 0 - 100 km/h in 8.7 seconds.

Next is the Electric 230 Long Range which from its namesake, gets a bigger battery pack rated at 98 kWh. This gives the E-3008 a range of up to 700 km while the single electric motor puts out 230 PS with 343 Nm of torque. It can sprint from 0 - 100 km/h in 8.9 seconds which is slightly slower than the 210 although that can be attributed to the larger battery pack.

At the top of the E-3008 range is the Electric 320. It has a dual-motor setup that combines the Electric 210’s FWD motor with an additional electric motor to power the rear axle. This gives the AWD Electric 320 a total system output of 320 PS. While not exactly sportscar-fast, the AWD EV can still reach 100 km/h from a standstill in only 6.4 seconds. It shares the battery pack of the base model which is 73 kWh. However, Peugeot claims it has a similar range of 525 km despite weighing 87 kg more.

When it comes to recharging, the E-3008 comes with an 11kW on-board charging system as standard. Meanwhile, a 22kW charging system is available as an option which can take 160 kW of AC Power. This gives the vehicle a charging time of 30 minutes from 20% to 80%.

With the all-new 3008 revealed in EV form, this begs the question if there will be an ICE, hybrid, or plug-in hybrid model available. Well, the STLA Medium architecture is actually capable of supporting electrified engines which means we can expect Peugeot to reveal non-E variants of the next-generation 3008 soon.

Perhaps the only question we have now is will Peugeot Philippines bring the all-new E-3008 here?
