Pre-booking for the next-gen Mitsubishi Triton is now open; to be revealed on January 26, 2024

After making its global debut in Thailand just a few months ago, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has officially previewed the all-new 2024 Triton (fka the Strada), and boy did they make some huge announcements.
For starters, the all-new Triton will be available in 7 variants. The range will start with the GL 2WD MT at PHP 1.134M and will be followed by the GL 4WD MT at PHP 1.157M. Next is the GLX 2WD MT which will retail for PHP 1.311M while the GLX 2WD AT will sell for PHP 1.383M. Prefer the GLX with 4WD? That will cost you PHP 1.561M.

Moving up the range we get the GLS 2WD A/T which will have a sticker price of PHP 1.582M. Last but not least is the range-topping Athlete 4WD AT which will cost PHP 1.915M.
Under the hood, the PH-spec Triton will get the new 2.4-liter turbo-diesel engine that's available with either a single turbo or a two-stage turbocharger. The top-spec Athlete generates 204 PS with 470 Nm of torque while the single turbo variant puts out a respectable 184 PS with 430 Nm of pull.

Complementing the engine is the all-new chassis and platform that is set to deliver better ride quality and handling. Last but not least, transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. And like the one launched in Thailand, the PH-spec Triton will also be available with Active Yaw Control (Athlete only) along with Super Select II 4WD system complete with 7 drive modes.

In terms of safety, the 2024 Triton is now more intelligent and will be available with a multi-view monitor for extra visibility all around. Speaking of intelligence, the 2024 Triton can be fitted with a wide array of advanced driver assist systems (ADAS) that include; forward-collision warning, automatic high beam, blind-spot monitoring with lane change assist, lane departure warning, rear-cross traffic alert, and hill-start assist.

Other safety features available are; anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, brake assist, stability control, parking sensors, a reverse camera, and a host of airbags. Moving to some of its cabin features, the 2024 Triton will get a new touchscreen infotainment system that's available in 8-inch and 9-inch sizes. All variants will get Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth, with higher-grade models getting wireless connectivity for CarPlay and Android Auto.
Available colors for the 2024 Triton include; Blade Silver, Graphite Gray, Jet Black, Red Solid, Yamabuki Orange, White Diamond, and White Solid.

Pre-booking for the 2024 Mitsubishi Triton is now open at authorized dealerships. Those who will put down reservations until January 25, 2024, will receive special prices and promos exclusive for early birds.
The 2024 Mitsubishi Triton will officially be launched in the Philippines next year on January 26.
