2024 Mazda CX-90 flagship SUV starts at PHP 3.68M
Mazda Philippines offering 2024 CX-90 in two variants

Mazda's second model under the “Large Product Group” is finally here.
The manufacturer's flagship SUV, the 2024 CX-90 has been launched in the country. It packs a potent hybrid powertrain with a strong on-road presence and high levels of luxury inside.
Design-wise, the CX-90 follows most of the styling cues of the smaller CX-60, but with unique touches such as the chrome garnishes on the grille and lower bumper for a sleeker and more elegant look. Both variants of the CX-90 wear 21-inch alloys, but the AWD HEV Turbo Exclusive variant gets a unique exterior paint finish called Artisan Red.

There are a few more differences between the AWD HEV Turbo and the Exclusive once you step inside. The former's interior has a black motif with aluminum silver accents while the top-spec Exclusive gets a shade of tan leather with suede and graphite gunmetal trim accents on the dashboard.

But in terms of design, the CX-90's dash looks similar to the CX-60 with a wide 12.3-inch infotainment display that has wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, as well as a digital instrument screen with a 10.4-inch heads-up display.

Both variants come with a panoramic sunroof as standard, but the difference in the seating layout is that the AWD HEV Turbo has space for 8 occupants while the Exclusive has dedicated captain seats on the second-row seats to make it a 6-seater. Other interior features include a three-zone climate control system, ventilated front seats, and a host of USB charging covering all three rows.

Powering both variants of the Mazda CX-90 is a 3.3-liter, turbocharged inline-six e-Skyactiv G engine that puts out 284 PS at 5000-6000 rpm and 450 Nm of torque from 2000-3500 rpm. The hybrid boost is courtesy of a 48-volt system that provides an extra 16.9 PS when powered by the 0.33 kWh lithium-ion battery. The engine is then mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that gives power to all four wheels via the 10:90 split all-wheel drive system.

In terms of safety, Mazda's flagship SUV comes with 7 airbags, a 360-degree camera, and standard ABS with dynamic stability control. Mazda also equipped the CX-90 with a lot of advanced safety systems in its i-Activsense suite, and among those are the radar cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, as well as blind-spot monitors and forward collision warning.

Mazda Philippines is offering the CX-90 with the following prices:
2024 Mazda CX-90 AWD HEV Turbo – PHP 3,680,000
2024 Mazda CX-90 AWD HEV Turbo Exclusive – PHP 3,780,000
