2024 Honda City Hatchback will retail close to PHP 1.2M
Honda City Hatchback will get quite a price hike for its latest update

Earlier today, Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) announced that the 2024 City Hatchback facelift pre-orders are now open. Not only that, but the automaker added that customers who will reserve a unit will have their PHP 5,000 reservation fees waived until June 13, 2024.
With the stylish hatchback set to get new features like Honda Sensing, wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, and revised exterior & interior styling, the 2024 City Hatchback will get a refresh both inside & out.
Now, HCPI has released the image price of the upcoming five-door hatch, and boy were we surprised. According to the automaker, the hatchback has an image price of PHP 1.194 million. You read right, the retail for the 2024 City Hatchback is close to PHP 1.2 million. While this is not yet the exact suggested retail price, the jump in price was not what we were expecting, particularly for just a refreshed model.

For reference, the current City Hatchback is selling for PHP 1.153 million which is already quite pricey. With an image price close to PHP 1.2 million, we’re curious how HCPI will be able to market the updated hatchback against similarly priced crossovers. But since the five-door City will now come with intelligent driver aids and even wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, perhaps the updates will still attract hatchback buyers.
With the 2024 City Hatchback’s price range already hitting B-segment crossover territory, we're curious as to what the hatchback's final price will be closer to launch.
