2024 Honda City hatch gets same engine but more tech
2024 City RS Hatchback now comes with Honda Sensing

The wait is over for Honda’s updated B-segment hatchback to hit the market.
Honda Cars Philippines has officially launched the new City RS Hatchback, featuring minor cosmetic changes and interior enhancements while stepping up in terms of safety and convenience with the addition of Honda Sensing.

On the outside, the sole RS variant for the City Hatchback gets a revised front bumper and grille complemented by a new set of 16-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels finished in Berlina Black to highlight its sporty image.
Inside, the new City Hatchback welcomes you with full RS leather seats, new graphics for the 4.2-inch TFT multi-information display on the instrument cluster, and an updated infotainment system that now comes with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

Under the hood is the familiar 1.5-liter DOHC i-VTEC engine that makes 121 PS and 145 Nm of torque paired to a CVT with paddle shifters for better driving engagement.
But for the most significant update, the Honda City RS Hatchback now comes with Honda Sensing, getting an alphabet full of advanced assists such as adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, auto high beam, lead car departure notification, and collision mitigation braking system, to name a few. In terms of passive safety, the new City Hatchback gets six airbags as standard. For peace of mind, the car now has a feature called Walk Away Auto Door Lock.

Honda is now selling the 2024 City RS Hatchback for PHP 1,189,000. Colors include the new Sonic Gray Pearl, which joins the Ignite Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, and Brilliant Sporty Blue Metallic in the list of color options.
For those who are interested in checking out the new City RS Hatchback in the metal, Honda Cars Philippines has the car on display throughout this weekend at 9th Ave. Bonifacio High Street Activity Center.
