2024 Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid revealed for PHP 1.350M

Remember when Chery Auto Philippines previewed two electrified crossovers at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show last April? Well, the automaker has officially introduced one of the two to the local market and is now accepting inquiries about it.

Say hello to the 2024 Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid, and it offers an interesting proposition over the regular turbocharged version. For starters, it also has a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four which already makes a decent 145 PS with 210 Nm of torque and is mated to a CVT with 9 simulated gear ratios.

But thanks to a 48V belt-starter generator providing assist, the electrified Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid now puts out 156 PS and 230 Nm of torque – an increase of 11 PS and 20 Nm, respectively. Not only that, but Chery says the 48V hybrid system reduces emissions by around 14% and reduces fuel consumption by 13%. Moreover, it gets fuel-saving technologies like regenerative braking, auto start/stop, and torque assist that provides faster acceleration while under load.

And since it's electrified, the Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid will most likely conform to the EVIDA law which will exempt it from the number coding scheme.

Apart from the electrified powertrain, the Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid also comes with high-tech features shared with the non-hybrid version. These include; a wireless charging pad for smartphones, multi-color LED ambient lighting, a 360-degree around-view monitor, a panoramic sunroof, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, and a power tailgate.

Other features available include a touchscreen infotainment system that comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, 6 speakers, dual-zone automatic climate control, push-button start, a tire pressure monitoring system, leather seats, and an intelligent remote key.

The 2024 Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid retails for PHP 1.350 million which is PHP 100,000 more than the regular turbocharged model. Those interested in getting one can now inquire about or visit any of their preferred Chery Auto dealerships in the country.
