2024 BYD Atto 3 EV revealed, starts at PHP 1.598M
Atto 3 will serve as BYD's premiere electric crossover in PH

After previewing its newest all-electric crossover last month at the 11th Philippine EV Summit, BYD distributor AC Motors has officially revealed the 2024 BYD Atto 3.
Serving as the brand’s latest offering, the Atto 3 is set to become BYD PH’s premiere electric crossover offering. With a stylish design that’s complemented by a bevy of standard features, the Atto 3 is set to make an electrifying presence in the PH EV market.

Starting with its size, the BYD Atto measures 4455mm long, 1875mm wide, and 1615mm tall. It also has a 2720mm wheelbase and a minimum ground clearance of 150mm. This makes the Atto 3 almost as big as the Toyota Yaris Cross - making it a B-segment SUV.
The exterior design is both sleek and modern, with the front fascia sporting a unique set of LED headlights and is complemented by an aluminum grille bearing the BYD logo. The rear, meanwhile, has full-width LED taillights and what looks to be a faux metal trim on the D-pillars which gives it extra flair.

Other key highlights on the outside include; a panoramic sunroof, a power tailgate, power-folding side mirrors, roof rails, and aerodynamic 18-inch wheels wrapped in 215/55 tires or 17-inch wheels wrapped in 215/60 tires.

Step inside and the Atto 3 greets occupants with a minimalist yet striking cabin. Sitting proudly at the center is a 12.8-inch touchscreen media display that can be oriented either in landscape or portrait layouts. Not only does this provide the necessary infotainment features like Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, but it also manages the other in-car functions/controls of the Atto 3.
Other available features present in the BYD Atto 3 include; a 5-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-speaker (or 6-speaker) sound system, automatic climate control, 60:40 split rear seats, leather seats, auto dimming rearview mirror, and a wireless phone charger.

At the heart of the Atto 3 is a permanent magnet synchronous motor that drives the front wheels. It generates 204 PS along with 310 Nm of torque. Providing the necessary juice to the Atto 3 is a choice of either a 49.92 kWh or a 60.48 kWh BYD Blade Battery. The former provides a range of 410 km while the latter has up to 480 km of range.
Recharging the Atto 3 can be done with a free CCS2 (AKA Type II) charging system which is rated at 7kW and can fully recharge the crossover in 8 to 8.5 hours. There will also be a portable 2.3kW charger onboard the vehicle itself.
The Atto 3 also supports faster DC charging; the Dynamic variant supports up to 70kW of DC charging while the Premium version can support up to 80 kW. Need to charge your home during a blackout? The Atto 3 also has V2L (vehicle-to-load) function which can power up devices should the need arise.

Providing extra peace of mind while on the road comes courtesy of several intelligent driver aids. These include; adaptive cruise control with stop & go function, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, and lane-keeping assist. These are only available on the Extended Range variant.

Other available safety features in the BYD Atto 3 are a tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability program, electronic stability program, traction control system, hill-start assist, hill-descent control, a 360-degree camera system, parking sensors, and a host of airbags (dual front, dual side, and dual curtain front).

Pricing of the 2024 BY Atto 3 is as follows:
Atto 3 Dynamic - PHP 1.598M
Atto 3 Premium - PHP 1.798M
