2023 Toyota Wigo launches in PH this month; starts at PHP 609k
It will have three variants, including a manual transmission model and two trims with CVT

After the all-new Wigo, which is called the Ayga in other countries around the region, debuted in February, its arrival in the Philippines was imminent. Thankfully, it was not too much of a wait because, after five months, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) officially confirmed the launch of the 2023 Wigo on July 14, 2023.
At the world premiere in Indonesia, Toyota revealed the second-generation Wigo will use the Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA) platform shared with the Avanza/Veloz and Raize. It has newer, slimmer lighting elements, a dashboard similar to the one in the Raize and Avanza, and a digital climate control system.

Unfortunately for the PH market, we will not be getting the 1.2-liter WA-VE three-cylinder engine. Instead, it will continue to have the 1.0-liter KR-VE three-cylinder engine that makes 66 PS and 89 Nm of torque. However, Toyota will replace the four-speed automatic transmission with a Dual-Mode Continuously Variable Transmission (D-CVT) to improve fuel consumption and acceleration.
If you want to see the all-new Wigo before retail sales start on July 17, you are in luck. TMP will unveil it to the public on July 14 at the Trinoma Activity Center. The mall display will continue until July 16, when TMP will feature all variants of the All-New Wigo in their different color offerings.

Planning to get one? Work your budget around these three variants:
2023 Wigo G CVT - PHP 729,000
2023 Wigo E CVT - PHP 684,000
2023 Wigo J M/T - PHP 609,000
TMP will release full features and specifications on its official website, toyota.com.ph, on July 14. Customers may already reserve the All-New Wigo at any Toyota dealership nationwide.
