2023 Subaru WRX, WRX Wagon to be revealed June 8
Subaru WRX in PH will be a choice between a sedan or wagon body style

Just before the holidays last year, Subaru distributor Motor Image Pilipinas announced that they'll be launching not one, but two high-performance models in the country. These are the all-new Subaru WRX and WRX Wagon.
The news was confirmed by none other than Glenn Tan, Deputy Chairman and Managing Director of Tan Chong Limited during a press conference. During his announcement, Tan said that both vehicles are slated to arrive sometime in June 2022. With no exact date yet, we didn't know when the company will actually reveal the two turbocharged vehicles for the Philippine market...until now.

With the economy opening up once more, Motor Image Pilipinas has officially announced that the 2023 WRX and WRX Wagon will be launched on June 8, 2022. That's right, we are only just a few weeks away before the all-new, high-performance turbocharged models arrive in the country.
Official details and specs of the 2023 WRX and WRX Wagon are not yet available. However, we can expect both the sedan and wagon to be powered by the new 2.4-liter FA24 turbocharged flat-four engine. The motor cranks out 275 PS along with 350 Nm of torque.

In other markets, the WRX sedan can come with either a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed Subaru Performance Automatic. Meanwhile, the WRX Wagon will only be available with the aforementioned 8-speed transmission.
If you're looking to get one for yourself before its reveal next month, better contact or visit your nearest dealership to let them know you're interested in getting one.

With only two weeks to go before its launch in the country, we certainly cannot wait to see the all-new WRX and WRX Wagon in the metal.
