2023 PH sales: Toyota, Lexus breach 200,000 units
TMP achieves sales milestone in 2023 and appoints new president

Toyota Motor Philippines, together with its luxury brand Lexus, has just achieved a monumental sales milestone in the country. The automaker was able to wrap up 2023 on a high after they were able to breach the 200,000 unit sales mark.
Toyota and Lexus were able to sell a total of 200,031 vehicles last 2023, cementing the brand’s continued achievement as the country’s leading automaker. Toyota alone was able to carve itself a 45.37% market share after they were able to shift 198,188 units. In addition, Toyota sales grew 14.4% year-on-year.
On the other hand, Lexus continues to lead the luxury segment after it was able to sell 1,843 units. The increase in sales signifies a 114.05% growth compared to Lexus’ performance in 2022.

Aside from achieving the sales milestone, Toyota Motor Philippines also welcomed 2024 by introducing its new president. Succeeding Atsuhiro Okamoto is Masando Hashimoto. Before taking the helm at TMP, Hashimoto was the company’s Senior Vice President.
