2023 Haval Jolion launched in PH with hybrid and turbo variants
Choose your 2023 GWM Haval Jolion with a turbocharged engine or a hybrid powertrain

After holding a preview several weeks ago, Great Wall Motors Philippines has officially launched the Haval Jolion. Available with either a turbocharged or hybrid powertrain, the Jolion serves as the GWM's smallest crossover offering while still packed with plenty of features.
Beginning with its exterior equipment, almost all variants of the Jolion come with LED headlights except for the base model which only gets halogens. LED daytime running lights (DRLs) as well as LED taillights are also standard across the lineup. For those that like a panoramic sunroof, the Jolion is also available with that particular feature.

In terms of size, the Jolion measures 4472mm long, 1841mm wide, and 1619mm tall. It also has a generous 2700mm wheelbase which ensures plenty of cabin and cargo space inside the crossover SUV.
Hop inside and the Jolion gets a high-tech interior that's complemented by a leather-wrapped steering wheel and leather seats. A 7-inch digital instrument cluster is available while lower-grade variants get analog gauges with a 3.5-inch multi-info display. There's also a neat heads-up display to let drivers know relevant information without having to avert their eyes from the road.

Depending on the variant chosen, a 12.3-inch or 10.25-inch touchscreen will be available on the Jolion. Despite the difference in size, both will come with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as Bluetooth. Other available features for the Jolion include a power-adjustable driver's seat, dual-zone automatic climate control with rear vents, a wireless charging pad, and an auto anti-glare rearview mirror.
Under the hood, the Jolion is available with two powertrain options. First is the 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that's available in the non-hybrid versions. It makes a respectable 141 PS with 220 Nm of torque and is paired to a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.

The other available powertrain is the electrified 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated inline-four that's helped along by an electric motor. While it doesn't benefit from forced induction, it does have a total system output of 186 PS and 375 Nm of torque. Instead of a dual-clutch gearbox, the 1.5-liter hybrid variant gets a dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT). It also gets several driving modes that include Standard, Sport, and Eco.
A wide array of safety features are equipped on the Jolion. These include anti-lock brakes, electronic brakeforce distribution, brake assist, hill-start assist, hill-descent control, electronic stability control, traction control, a tire pressure monitoring system, a 360-degree view camera (or reverse camera), and parking sensors.

Intelligent driver aids are also available on the 2023 Jolion and include features like forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-center keeping assist, lane-change assist, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, rear collision warning, rear-cross traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot warning.
Pricing of the 2023 Haval Jolion is as follows:
1.5 Turbo DCT Plus - PHP 998,000
1.5 Turbo DCT Max - PHP 1,128,000
1.5 Turbo DCT Supreme - PHP 1,248,000
1.5 HEV DHT Supreme - PHP 1,588,000
