2023 Chevrolet Seeker has Ford Territory on its sights
Chevrolet comes up with a crossover that could rival the Ford Territory

Say Ni hao to Chevy’s new compact crossover, the Seeker.
The all-new Chevrolet Seeker has been revealed for the Chinese market. With two RS variants showing off the brand's racing DNA, the Seeker comes in a striking new design, enhanced connectivity, and the latest Ecotec powertrain.

The crossover slots in between the Trailblazer and Equinox, expanding the brand's crossover lineup in China. Chevrolet did not disclose details about the power figures of the Seeker but they claim it has the 8th-generation 1.5-liter turbocharged direct injection Ecotec engine.

Chevy’s new Seeker debuts the latest design language with a low roof line and wide muscular sides. The upward flow of the body line creates a sense of flow and gives the crossover a sporty and distinctive silhouette that exudes ruggedness. This look is further solidified with its 2,700-millimeter wheelbase paired with 18-inch wheels. The X-shaped front and rear theme complete the exterior details and make the crossover stand out in a very crowded automotive segment.

The crossover also features the all-new Xiaoxue operating system for its 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay. In addition, it has a built-in Tune Dynamic (TD) sound system which will provide occupants with a unique auditory experience.

Inside, you can find perforated soft leather surfaces on the dashboard, power ventilated and heated seats with lumbar support, wireless phone charging, and a power liftgate that makes up an attractive and tech-loaded cabin. Not to mention, the flat-bottom steering wheel adds to its sporty appeal.

For now, Chevrolet is offering the all-new Seeker in China, and has yet to announce if the crossover will be offered in other markets. But once they do so, especially in our local market, it could go against the likes of the Ford Territory and shake up the highly competitive local compact crossover market.
