2023 C-Class AMG Line coming to PH says Mercedes-Benz
Expect a sportier Mercedes-Benz C-Class in the form of the new AMG Line

When the all-new C-Class was revealed for the Philippine market a few days ago, it was only available in one variant, the C 180 Avantgarde. Despite offering just one model of the brand new C-Class, the Avantgarde isn't exactly bare.
From having 18-inch alloy multi-spoke alloy wheels, a full-leather interior, power-adjustable front seats with memory function, the next-gen MBUX infotainment system, full LED headlights, 64-color LED ambient lighting, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a suite of intelligent safety features, the C 180 Avantgarde packs plenty of amenities.

While that's all well and good, some might say its exterior could use a bit more flair. Sure, it may be called the Baby S-Class since it's essentially a miniature version of the flagship sedan, but some prefer a sportier-looking luxury four-door.
Luckily, Mercedes-Benz distributor Auto Nation Group Inc (ANG) has announced that there will be another variant of the all-new C-Class coming soon, the AMG Line. That's right, the Avantgarde will be joined by the more aggressive (but still stately-looking) Avantgarde.

No specifics were mentioned as to how the AMG Line will differ from the Avantgarde. But a quick look at international markets has given us a sneak peek of things to come. For starters, it will come with sportier bumpers, a mesh-type front grille, a new set of alloy wheels, and larger exhausts at the back.
Inside, we can expect the interior to come with some AMG Line-specific upgrades like a new steering wheel, a different leather upholstery, carbon fiber accents, a Burmester surround sound system, different floor mats, and metal-finished paddle shifters.

Under the hood, we can expect the AMG Line version to have a similar powertrain as the Avantgarde. That means a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that makes 170 PS and 250 Nm of torque. Power will then be sent to a 9-speed automatic transmission.
No exact date was mentioned as to when the C-Class AMG Line will be arriving. However, they did say that it might arrive later this year just before 2022 finishes. So for those who want a sleeker-looking C-Class, they could wait until the AMG Line version officially makes its way to the country.
