2022 Toyota Veloz will start at PHP 1.185M
There will be a total of two Toyota Veloz variants for PH market

Earlier this week, Toyota Motor Philippines dropped a teaser video of an all-new model. Despite not saying what exactly they will be revealing soon, it's clear that the vehicle seen in the teaser is none other than the Veloz.
Frankly, we were not entirely surprised as a Toyota executive confirmed with us before that the Avanza's more upscale sibling is indeed coming to the Philippines. However, the specifications and pricing of the 2022 Veloz remain a mystery...until now.
Thanks to a well-placed source, we managed to find out the variants, prices, as well as available colors for the upcoming Veloz. Based on the information we received, there will be a total of 2 variants – 1.5 G CVT and 1.5 V CVT. You read right, the 2022 Veloz will only be available with a CVT and the 1.5-liter 1NR-FE Dual VVT-i shared with the Avanza.

As for sticker prices, the 1.5 G CVT will retail for PHP 1.185 million while the top-spec 1.5V CVT will be selling for PHP 1.225 million. If you prefer the Veloz with a Platinum White Pearl Mica finish, that's an extra PHP 15,000 on top of the SRP. This bumps up the price of the 1.5 G CVT and 1.5 V CVT to PHP 1.2 million and PHP 1.240 million, respectively.
Other available colors for the Veloz include Black Metallic, Dark Red Mica Metallic, and Purplish Silver Mica Metallic.
Additional details and specifications about the 2022 Veloz are not yet available. But given that Toyota already has the prices and variants ready, it might not be long before TMP actually reveals it to the public.
If given the choice, which one would you get, the 1.5 V or the 1.5 G?
