2022 Toyota Rush GR-S can be yours for PHP 1.176M
TMP expands its GR-S range with a sportier looking Rush

Remember when an insider shared with us that Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) will be launching the GR Sport (GR-S) version of the Rush? Well, the automaker has indeed revealed the dressed-up version of its popular 7-seater.
Officially making its debut in the Philippines is the 2022 Toyota Rush GR Sport. Now serving as the new top-of-the-line (TOTL) variant, the Rush now comes with Gazoo Racing Sport goodies, as well as improved cabin amenities.

The exterior of the Rush GR-S comes with GR-branded bumper spoilers for the front and rear, as well as side body moldings. It even gets 'GR Sport' badges around the body that remind everyone that this is indeed a GR-S model. Last but not least, the dressed-up SUV will also be available in 3 distinct colors; Black Metallic 1, Dark Red Mica Metallic, and White 2.
Inside, the Rush GR-S comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also gets an 8-speaker sound system, power-folding side mirrors, smart keyless entry, push-button start, automatic climate control, and a 3-spoke leather steering wheel.

Powering the Rush GR Sport is the familiar 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with Dual VVT-i. It makes 102 PS at 6000 rpm with 134 Nm of torque at 4200 rpm and is exclusively connected to a 4-speed automatic gearbox.
Since the Rush GR-S is based on the regular G variant, it comes with plenty of safety features that include; anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, traction control, stability control, hill-start assist, and 6 airbags.

“The Toyota Rush has been a preferred SUV for young people seeking to fully live their active lifestyle with a car that can keep up with their desire to break away from the everyday. That is why it is very fitting that the Rush now comes with a GR-S variant that follows TGR's philosophy of pushing the limits for better. For our customers, this means added thrill, excitement, and style in their everyday drives,” said Sherwin Chualim, TMP's First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations.
The new Rush GR-S is now available in all 72 dealerships nationwide and retails for PHP 1.176 million.
