2022 Peugeot Traveller Premium retails for PHP 2.99M
Peugeot PH enters people carrier segment with Traveller Premium

Back in January, Peugeot Philippines was relaunched under new management. With that said, the company is looking to expand its market reach in the country. And to do that, the French automaker wants to open more dealerships to go along with new additions to its local vehicle lineup.
Following the launch of the facelifted 5008 and the 3008 SUVs, Peugeot has officially launched the 2022 Traveller Premium. The stylish new van has set its sights to compete with the Toyota Hiace Super Grandia and Volkswagen Multivan Kombi for the premium people carrier segment.

From the outside, the Traveller Premium features a trapezoidal chrome grille with the new trademark lion badge. In addition, the van has Xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights and rolls on a set of stylish 17-inch wheels. There are also power sliding doors with hands-free access to make ingress and egress more convenient.
Step inside, and the black Claudia leather seats welcome you. The LED mood lighting, side window curtains, and panoramic glass roof set the tone for the interior's ambiance. For infotainment features, there's a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen head unit that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Gadget-savvy occupants won't have problems charging their devices on long trips either, as there are four 12V sockets inside together with a 220V socket and a USB port.

The spacious boot can be opened up using the rear tailgate, or through its opening window. It allows up to 1,060 liters of luggage to be stored at the back, and precious cargo can be tied down easily thanks to the rear luggage cover.
For driver features and convenience, a 3.5-inch heads-up display provides vital vehicle information. Parking the 5.3-meter long van is made easier thanks to front and rear parking sensors and a 180-degree rearview camera.

The van is powered by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder BlueHDi Diesel engine with 150 PS at 4000 rpm along with 370 Nm of torque at 2000 rpm. Power is then sent to the front wheels by a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Safety features for the new van include two pairs of front and side airbags. Also, it has ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution, an electronic stability program, hill climb assist (aka hill-start assist), driver attention alert, cruise control with speed limiter, and blind-spot assist.

The Peugeot Traveller Premium retails for PHP 2.99 million and comes with 8 seats. Furthermore, the van comes in three colors: Bianca White, Artense Gray, and Nera Black. It has a warranty of three 3 years or 100,000 kilometers, and periodic checks for every 10,000 kilometers mileage interval.
For those who'd like to see the new Peugeot Traveller Premium, the van will be on display at the Manila International Auto Show from April 7 to April 10, 2022.
