2022 MG 5 Alpha can do 20.2 km/l
MG5, ZS, ZST and HS SUV post impressive numbers in AAP fuel eco run

If you're on the road most of the time, you'll notice that MG Philippines' vehicles are a common sight on our roads. Aside from offering good value, and modern in-car amenities, they can now make it official – their lineup is one most fuel-efficient in the market today.
MG Philippines' participated in a recent fuel eco run sanctioned by the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP) where they brought in the MG 5 Alpha, ZS Alpha, ZST Trophy, and the HS Trophy.
Following strict parameters monitored in-car by the AAP, the fuel eco run mimicked real-world driving conditions which included normal usage of air-conditioning, rolled-up windows, keeping within regulated road speed limits, and tires pumped to factory-recommended pressure.

Also, being conducted on public roads, all traffic laws and regulations were strictly followed, where no extreme “hypermiling” driving techniques such as drafting or slipstreaming were done in order to augment the fuel efficiency ratings of these MG vehicles. Test parameters were reviewed on-site and approved in real-time by the AAP, guaranteeing the validity of the attained fuel efficiency figures.
Among the fielded vehicles by MG Philippines, the MG 5 Alpha sedan clocked in the highest fuel efficiency rating at 20.20 km/l. Meanwhile, the ZS Alpha and ZST Trophy posted 19.95 and 19.70 km/l, respectively. Lastly, the HS Trophy did 17.31 km/l.
“Our effort to formalize and document the fuel economy figures of our MG vehicles aims to strengthen the already high, inherent value for money offered by our numerous product offerings here at MG Philippines. With their impressive fuel efficiency ratings confirmed by the AAP, we can add yet another aspect that makes a responsible purchase out of these modern, global MG cars and SUVs” said Atty. Alberto B. Arcilla, President and CEO of MG Philippines.
Fuel efficiency is such an important feature for cars nowadays. And with the MG Philippines' latest results, their notable fuel efficiency ratings make them extraordinary choices for your next new ride.
