2022 Mercedes-AMG A35 is a PHP 5.45-M hot hatch
Its 2.0L engine sends 306 PS and 400 Nm of torque to an AMG Speedshift DCT

If downsizing is your thing and you want to drive around something nimbler and more mobile, you can’t go wrong putting your money on the latest pocket rocket from Mercedes-Benz. Say hello to the Mercedes-AMG A35 4Matic.

Its body has been carved in a wind tunnel and enhanced with an AMG aerodynamic package to increase negative lift force. It comes with AMG body styling along with an AMG radiator grille front apron (with a large front splitter), 19-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, and an AMG rear aerofoil.

Mercedes-Benz’s dedication to quality is evident in the cabin. It uses premium materials with a quality finish topped off with some more AMG equipment. In the cockpit are an AMG performance steering wheel (in Nappa leather) and AMG steering wheel buttons. It uses dual 10.25-inch displays on the dashboard with the brand’s MBUX infotainment system. To engage it, all the driver needs to do is say “Hey Mercedes.” Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard.
Under the hood is a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine sending 306 PS and 400 Nm of torque to the four wheels via an AMG Speedshift DCT 7G dual-clutch transmission. This latest compact hatchback from the German marque uses the brand’s trademark four-wheel-drive system called 4Matic to deliver a sporty performance with plenty of grip and traction.

Another neat feature is the AMG Supersport, which is an upshift indicator to allow drivers to more easily rev-match when the need arises. It also comes with a G-meter, engine data, and uses an AMG high-performance brake system with silver calipers and visible black AMG lettering.
Safety features include Blind Spot Assist and Active Lane Keeping Assist.
The 2022 Mercedes-AMG A35 retails for PHP 5.45 million and is available at authorized dealerships nationwide.
