2022 Changan CS35 Plus facelift starts at PHP 898k
Changan gives its CS35 Plus B-segment crossover a new face and new features for 2022

After debuting last year in China, Changan Motor Philippines Inc (CMPI) has officially launched the 2022 CS35 Plus. Featuring a more stylish look inside and out, the B-segment crossover dons a more modern look, as well as an upgraded and more high-tech cabin.

Starting with the most obvious, the CS35 Plus now has a more aggressive face that appears similar to that of its larger sibling, the CS 75 Plus. It gets a huge grille that extends towards the lower half of the bumper and is complemented by slim LED headlights.
On higher-grade variants, it also comes with a sporty red trim that provides contrast and separates the grille from the lower air intake. The rear only received only minor updates that include a revised LED taillight design.

Inside, the 2022 CS35 Plus gets a more stylish interior. There's a new flat-bottom steering wheel, a digital instrument panel, a revised automatic climate control panel, and sleeker aircon vents. On the highest-grade version, the crossover comes with a unique two-tone red and black leather interior that further highlights the vehicle's sportiness.

Providing infotainment is a 10-inch touchscreen display. It gets AM/FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity, smartphone connectivity, navigation, video playback, and more. There's even a built-in wireless charger and 2 USB charging ports to keep your mobile devices juiced up. Other available amenities include rear A/C vents, a panoramic sunroof, a new power tailgate, and a 403-liter cargo space that can be increased to 950 liters with the rear seats folded.

Under the hood of the 2022 CS35 Plus is an upgraded 1.4-liter turbocharged inline-four. It now makes 160 PS along with 260 Nm of torque. This translates to an additional 2 PS along with 25 Nm of extra pull. Like its predecessor, CS35 Plus gets a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with manual select. Complementing the turbocharged engine is a customizable steering system. It has three available settings that include Standard, Comfortable, and Sport.

Providing extra security for the driver and passengers is a suite of intelligent safety systems called Safe-Tech. This gives the crossover smart driver aids like adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, front collision warning, a 360-degree around-view camera system, and 6 airbags.

Available colors for the 2022 CS35 Plus are Draco Red, Timber Wolf Gray, and Wunderlust White. For peace of mind, the CS35 Plus comes with a 5-year/150,000 km mileage warranty and free PMS Labor for the first year/20,000 km, whichever comes first.

Pricing and variants of the 2022 CS35 Plus are as follows:
CS35 Plus Lite – PHP 898,000
CS35 Plus Hype – PHP 969,000
CS35 Plus Luxe – PHP 999,000
