Mercedes-Benz, Fuso PH launch new joint truck facility in QC
Inchcape and Sojitz Fuso Philippines open multibrand dealership in Mindanao Avenue, Quezon City
Two of the country’s commercial vehicle specialists have come together to provide better solutions to the mobility needs of the market transportation segment.
Inchcape Philippines, distributor of Mercedes-Benz Trucks and Buses, and Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation have opened a new multi-brand dealership along Mindanao Avenue in Quezon City.
The multi-brand facility, operated by iCATS Motors Inc., will handle sales and aftersales services for both Mercedes-Benz and Fuso commercial vehicles. The Mindanao Avenue dealership features a display area, complete with special tools and working bays that cater to both light and heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
“This partnership between Inchcape and Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation signify a strengthened commitment to powering better mobility in the country, bringing market high quality and durable products to allow access and growth for the people, communities, and businesses,” said Alex Hammett, Inchcape plc Managing Director of South Asia & Pacific.
During the inauguration, it was also announced that Inchcape Philippines appointed Alpine Motors Corporation in Carmona, Cavite as its Mercedes-Benz Truck Dealer for Sales, Service, and Spare Parts. The 1,957 sqm facility has a Truck display area and two dedicated workbays that can accommodate Mercedes-Benz Trucks, making Alpine Motors Corporation in Carmona the first Daimler Truck Multibrand Dealer in Southern Luzon.
These joint facilities reinforce Daimler Truck’s commitment to the Philippine market, signaling a new era and vision of growth in the Philippine automotive industry.
