Hyundai HD50S GT Class 4 PUV is ready to move people
DOTr grants Hyundai Truck and Bus with COC for HD50S GT Modern PUV

Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Hyundai commercial vehicles, has claimed a double milestone with the addition of the Hyundai HD50S GT Modern PUV Class 4 to its model lineup.
The Department of Transportation granted the Certificate of Compliance (COC) this July to HARI, making them the first company to receive a COC for said PUV category.
With this latest certification for the HD50S Modern PUV Class 4, HARI again figures as the first in the country to offer a full line of vehicles that meet government standards, living up to its commitment as a staunch supporter of the PUV Modernization Program (PUVMP). In 2019, HARI received the COC for its Modern PUVs Class 1 and 2, and in 2020 for the HD50S Class 3.

“Hyundai’s truck of all trades, the HD50S, does it again, this time to bring more value to our current Modern PUV fleet offerings. With its new body application, the HD50S Class 4 is intended to connect rural towns to larger cities. That is why it has provisions for cargo, as well as forward-facing seats for all passengers, and a side door entry for easy boarding and alighting. Of course, it is powered by an engine that is Euro-4 compliant and powerful enough to take on various road conditions,” said HARI President and CEO Maria Fe Perez-Agudo.
Since the HD50 Modern PUV brings power, fuel efficiency, toughness, space, comfort, safety, and reliable after-sales support, HARI says it's the preferred vehicle for transport cooperatives in Regions 3, 5, and 7. It is also gaining fast-growing support from cooperatives in NCR and Region IV. To date, HARI has sold close to 800 units of the modern PUV nationwide.
