DOTr to add northbound stop at SM MOA Busway Station
DOTr announces addition of northbound stop at SM MOA Busway Station

The EDSA Busway has served as a convenient way for commuters in going from the northern to southern parts of Metro Manila and vice versa, but the Department of Transportation is still finding ways to further improve and enhance the riding experience.
DOTr has announced they are adding a new Northbound stop at the SM Mall of Asia Busway Station, which complements the existing Southbound stop being utilized by buses going to PITX.

The northbound stop location is found at the SM MOA roundabout – the same area where the southbound stop is operating. This gives northbound commuters a closer entry and exit point to the Mall of Asia complex, and a new loading and unloading zone for northbound drivers plying the EDSA Busway route.
DOTr has also released a guide for bus operators and bus drivers regarding the traffic adjustments for the new routing scheme, which can be found below:

The implementation will start with a dry run that begins on Monday, September 22 until September 30 to weed out any operational issues from both bus drivers and those managing the EDSA busway. The full implementation will then be effective by October 1, 2025.
