Big & Bold: Foton F-Jeepney Class 3 modern PUV revealed
Modern PUV body meets high-tech comfort in Foton F-Jeepney Class 3

Foton Motor Philippines Inc. (FMPI) has just revealed its biggest and perhaps most high-tech modern PUV to date. This is the F-Jeepney Class 3, and it’s packing plenty of technologies to provide the utmost passenger comfort.
Built in support of the government's PUV Modernization Program (PUVMP) and in line with its efforts to provide world-class dependable mobility to Filipinos, the F-Jeepney Class 3 offers bigger and more robust capabilities than most modern jeepneys.

It has a spacious 26-passenger capacity complete with front-facing cushioned seats, easy-to-grip handrails, and an air-conditioning system with multiple vents to keep the cabin cool. Even the driver gets their own creature comforts that include; an adjustable steering wheel, power steering, power windows, central locking, and a remote key.
The F-Jeepney Class 3 also meets modern transportation requirements and comes with the following; an automatic fare collection system for cashless transactions, Wi-Fi connectivity, a GPS tracker, a CCTV system, an LED TV screen, electronic signage, and an emergency stop button with a buzzer.

Powering the F-Jeepney Class 3 is the proven 3.8-liter ISF Cummins common-rail turbo-diesel engine. It makes a respectable 154 PS at 2600 rpm and a generous torque of 500 Nm from 1200 to 1900 rpm. Power is then transferred to a 6-speed manual transmission. To ensure the F-Jeepney Class 3 can cover plenty of ground, it has a 120-liter fuel tank while air brakes equipped with ABS provide more peace of mind while on the road.

Those interested in getting the F-Jeepney Class 3 to add to their fleet can visit any authorized Foton dealership and inquire about the 26-seater modern PUV.
