Supercars, tuners turn up for Titans of Manila
An exclusive gathering of the finest supercars and tuners in the Metro

Normally, red lights and heavy traffic go hand in hand on a payday weekend in the Metro, especially around the Greenhills area. Naturally, anyone in the right frame of mind would avoid anything that's on red in the Waze app. So how did we find ourselves in one of Greenhills Shopping Center's parking lots on a payday Friday rush hour?
The keyword is "normally". This isn't your typical kind of Friday night. The Titans of Manila have gathered for a very special, and very exclusive car meet.

There's quite a charm with these invite-only car meets, as the participants are selected by the organizers, ensuring the gathering is centered around camaraderie, and of course, appreciating the finest car builds from the finest car builders in town. No unnecessary showboating here, just your good ol' fashioned parking lot tambay. The cars speak (or roar) for themselves.

It's the first-ever meet for Titans, and it does indeed leave a great first impression. There's over 100 supercars, ranging from BMW Ms, Lamborghini V12s, mid-engined and grand tourer Ferraris to Porsche GT3 RS versions and even McLaren LT models.

That's not to say Japanese tuners weren't around. Of the 40 units of the FL5 Civic Type R, three examples were there at the meet. There's a nice number of Toyota GR Supras, MR2s, Lancer Evos, Nissan GT-Rs, and even a Mazda RX-7. Yes, not an LS swap. It's brapping around with its Rotary engine.
Since there are a lot of supercars around, the pambansang supercar photobomber, the Toyota Innova, made an appearance as well. It was sitting pretty between a rare, but not-so-rare in the country STO Lamborghini, and a Black Series Merc AMG GT.

Organizers say there will be another "secret" gathering of the Titans of Manila, and of course we won't let you know just yet. But when you do know about it, chances are you're already reading it here.
The Titans of Manila meet was supported by Titan Works, Motul, Autoholic Garage, MAGTROC, Second Skin Industries, SpeedyFix, Royal Purple, HazardBoy, Import Hookup, The Shop Automotive, KSM, MK4 Autocare and JC Car Audio.
