2025 Monterey Car Week: Celebrating Automotive Excellence
Here are some highlights from the 2025 Monterey Car Week

For the discerning car enthusiast, an annual pilgrimage to the week-long Monterey Car Week is an absolute must. This iconic automotive celebration features a series of premier events that showcase everything from timeless classics to cutting-edge automotive innovations.
Highlights include the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the exclusive The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, thrilling vintage racing at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, and high-profile vehicle auctions. It's an unparalleled experience that captures the full spectrum of automotive excellence.

While almost all of the exquisite cars featured are museum-worthy classics, the Tour d’Elegance ensures they are more than just showpieces. This 70-mile drive along scenic roads is required for every vehicle entered in the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, serving as proof of each car's road-worthiness and mechanical integrity

Then there's the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance itself serving as the grand finale of the week. Taking top honors among the billions of dollars’ worth of rare and exclusive vintage vehicles on display was the 1924 Hispano-Suiza H6C Nieuport-Astra Torpedo, which was awarded the coveted Best of Show title.

Another major highlight of Monterey Car Week is The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering. This event not only hosts its own prestigious concours but also serves as a premier stage for major luxury automakers to unveil their latest models and groundbreaking concepts. Luxury marques turned out in full force, showcasing one-off creations and limited-production models poised for public release. Among the standout reveals was the Bugatti Brouillard, a 1,600-horsepower coupé variant of the Mistral roadster. This engineering marvel accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.4 seconds and boasts a blistering top speed of 273 mph.

This year’s Best in Show at The Quail was a rare 1996 Ferrari F50 GT1, which was actually fired up and revved earlier in the day, delighting an awe-struck crowd. Made even special as it was surrounded by an overwhelming display of other F50s.
This and more like it illustrate the kind of spectacle only a few outside this exclusive circle will ever witness. That exclusivity also comes at a price: general admission tickets to The Quail cost around $1,596 and sell out faster than you can say “Ferrari,” a testament to the event’s enduring prestige and popularity.

For motorsports enthusiasts, this year’s Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion continued its tradition of celebrating historic, period-correct race and sports cars from nearly every era. The 2025 edition honored the 75th anniversary of Formula One and paid tribute to the original IROC (International Race of Champions) cars, such as the Camaro, Porsche RSR's and the Trans-Am.

Driven by NASCAR and Formula One legends during their respective eras. The event delivered a full sensory experience, offering fans the rare chance to see, hear, and feel the power of some of the world’s most iconic race cars piloted by legendary drivers.
