Small in Size, Big in Features: 2026 Suzuki Fronx Hybrid
Suzuki rejoins crossover arena with the stylish and feature-packed Fronx Hybrid

When it comes to making small vehicles, Suzuki is a master in the segment. From the likes of the Jimny, S-Presso, Swift, and the Carry, Suzuki's lineup of vehicles may be small in size, but they're packed to the brim with features. And just like every Suzuki, they all come with their own unique charms, quirky looks, and nifty features.
After a brief hiatus, Suzuki has returned to the crossover arena with the all-new Fronx. Touted to go against the likes of the Toyota Raize and Kia Sonet, the Suzuki Fronx combines dynamic SUV styling, high-tech features, and a mild-hybrid powertrain that delivers impressive fuel efficiency.
For those with active lifestyles who want everything in a small but feature-packed vehicle, can the Suzuki Fronx deliver on that aspect with ease? Can it also wear many hats to suit every buyer's needs and wants?
Sleek Styling with Purpose
They say putting your best foot forward always makes for a great impression, and the Suzuki Fronx is no different. It may be small in size, but the Fronx is certainly big when it comes to making an impression, thanks to its SUV-inspired elements and a coupe-like styling. The result is a truly stylish and dynamic-looking vehicle that looks and feels upmarket.

With a bold grille complete with chrome accents, eye-catching split-type LED headlights and daytime running lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, and full-width LED taillights, the Suzuki Fronx is indeed a looker. Combined with the two-tone paint finish, the coupe-inspired roofline, claw-like LED taillights with a full-width light bar, the Suzuki Fronx looks and feels upmarket, which will surely be something buyers who want a stylish vehicle will look for.
Despite its small size, the Suzuki Fronx still gets some SUV elements, which gives it extra flair. These include generous use of black body cladding, the front & rear skid plates, and the 170mm of ground clearance. All of these translate to giving drivers peace of mind when having to take on rough roads and minor floods during the rainy season.

Want your Suzuki Fronx in various shades? Suzuki has you covered as the crossover is available in several hues, which include Ice Grayish Blue Metallic Pearl, Magma Gray Metallic, Savannah Ivory Metallic, and Snow White Pearl.
Comfortable and Feature-Packed
Just because it's a small car doesn't mean it's lacking in features. Suzuki is known for giving its vehicles a long list of equipment, and the Fronx is probably its best example yet. Despite having to meet certain price points, the Suzuki Fronx is packed to the brim, which will impress those who are looking for a well-appointed vehicle but don't want something that's too big.

Immediately grabbing your attention are the two-tone interior and fabric seats. Suzuki made generous use of Black and Burgundy to give the Fronx a more refined look and feel. The same finish can also be found on the dashboard, giving the Fronx a more dynamic appearance than the rest of the competition.

Technophiles will be happy to know the Fronx is equipped with a 9-inch touchscreen complete with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay. The screen also doubles as a 360-degree camera system to ensure parking is made easier every time. Automatic climate control is also available and will keep the cabin cool on even the hottest of days. For extra comfort, the Suzuki Fronx comes with rear A/C vents to keep the rear passengers cool, calm, and collected.

Forgot your charging cable? Not to worry, as the Suzuki Fronx comes with a Qi wireless charging pad to keep your device charged up while you're on your way to your next adventure. Passengers in the back will also be happy to know that Suzuki installed rear charging ports.

In front of the driver is a leather-wrapped steering wheel that comes with soft-touch buttons for the touchscreen infotainment and multi-info display. But what is perhaps the most important feature the driver will enjoy is the heads-up display (HUD). Not only will it help drivers monitor their speed with ease, but the HUD also keeps track of what gear you're in, the engine RPM, average fuel consumption, as well as navigational reminders.
If you're the kind who shops till you drop, the Suzuki Fronx can carry your bargain finds with ease thanks to its 304 liters of cargo space. What it lacks in sheer length, it makes up for in volume, thanks to its deep luggage space that can easily hold tall, wide, and heavy items without a hitch.
A Hybrid Heart
Just like the Ertiga, XL7, and the Dzire, Suzuki gave the Fronx a hybrid powertrain. Under the hood is a 1.5L K15C DualJet four-cylinder engine that benefits from the brand's 12-volt SHVS system. The inline-four is equipped with dual injectors, dual VVT with rocker roller arms, and an EGR that helps lower emissions while delivering a torquey performance in a small engine.

It makes a healthy 100 PS at 6000 rpm, along with 135 Nm of torque at 4400 rpm, and is paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Unlike a 4-speed automatic, the Fronx's 6-speed unit has a wide spread of gears that's optimized to deliver better acceleration, as well as improved fuel efficiency. In fact, Suzuki says the Fronx Hybrid was able to average 27.98 km/L based on the Automobile Association of the Philippines' (AAP) fuel efficiency test.
Whereas most small crossovers come with a small three-cylinder engine, Suzuki bucked the trend and went for an inline-four to ensure optimal and smoother power delivery. Combined with a 6-speed automatic, drivers who are looking for a familiar driving experience will find the Fronx Hybrid's powertrain a welcome change.
Peace of Mind On The Road
Having peace of mind while on the road is a must, and Suzuki made sure the Fronx will keep you safe and secure. The Fronx is the first-ever vehicle to come with the Suzuki Safety Support. It serves as the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for the Fronx and comes with plenty of intelligent driver aids to help you and your passengers stay safe in every situation.

From Active Cruise Control, Automatic High Beams, Blind-Spot Monitoring, Dual Sensing Brake Support with Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning with Lane Departure Prevention, Lane-Keep Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Weaving Alert, the Suzuki Fronx is equipped to keep an eye out while you're out on the open road.
Besides having ADAS on hand, the Suzuki Fronx also comes with a total of six airbags to ensure occupants are kept safe in a crash. All of these safety features are Suzuki's way of ensuring occupants are safe and sound on any occasion while on the road.

The Suzuki Fronx Hybrid combines the best features of a small crossover and is equipped with features typically found on larger vehicles. What it lacks in size, it makes up for with a sleek and dynamic appearance that sets it apart from the rest. Last but not least, the Fronx is powered by a hybrid powertrain and is equipped with intelligent driver aids to keep you and your passengers safe while on the road.
The Suzuki Fronx Hybrid may be small, but it can meet a wide array of needs from those who wish to get a crossover SUV that pushes above its segment without having to compromise.
